Last month, the 2016 edition of the Piscine Global Europe Trade Show welcomed professionals from the pool and spa sector. Here are the retrospective figures for this worldwide event!
The world leader in Pool and Spa Trade Shows
Piscine Global Europe 2016 had no less than 17 876 visitors, which signifies 6,6 % more than in 2014 (excluding suppliers, industrial manufacturers and service companies). More than a third of these visitors (39 %) came from the international domain, for a total of 98 countries represented ! Record figures which confirm the Piscine Global Europe Trade Show as being the world leader for pool and spa professionals.
The Trade Show had the privilege of welcoming 160 Top French and International Buyers, 16 international federations, 8 ambassadors and 5 delegations from Israel, Denmark, Senegal, Martinique and Brazil. To cover the event and give visibility to the 596 exhibitors, at least 100 journalists were present !
A trade show peppered with high-end contests
3 contests were organized in order to highlight the creative and innovative talents of pool and spa professionals.
The Piscine Innovations contest, firmly focused on technological progress and sustainable development, brought 82 innovations to light, and allowed for the selection of 11 award winners (find here). The Pool Vision contest, on the other hand, gathered architects and designers from around the world, with the aim of promoting their technicality and creativity. 5 remarkable pools, among a multitude of selected projects, were awarded. Finally, the Showroom Academy contest, whose mission was to evaluate and award the finest store layout, with the Showroom Academy Trophy. Entertainment adapted to all needs
Visitors had access to 3 principal zones of animation and entertainment, with demos and turnkey solutions for professionals : the Piscine Water Tests with product demos on real-life situations in pools, the Aquafitness festival, with its fitness equipment tests, such as waterbikes and the Showroom Academy, which gave multitudinous advice on how to optimize one’s sales area.
To allow visitors to share ideas and to benefit from an expert’s view on different themes, the Trade Show offered 29 conferences around problems, innovations or trends, as well as 3 workshops.
Finally, to facilitate contact between exhibitors and professional visitors, the Trade Show organized a service for business appointments, held in the manner of speed meetings. This year, more than 500 speed meetings were held !
Encouraging figures, which testify not only to the international scope of the Piscine Global Europe Trade Show, but which also show the need to federate the sector, in order to competently accompany professionals, as well as favorise innovation in the pool and spa field !
