Old shipping containers where already turned into pool houses. Now they are being converted into top quality container pools! A new concept was born during the 2020 lockdown – to propose modular, flexible, ecological shipping container pools. This pool innovation designed by Soniga, a start-up based in Toulouse, France, opens new horizons for the pool sector.
A great idea for private pools
The concept – to convert disused shipping containers acquired from a company in Castelnau-Estrétefonds. After refurbishment, the construction of a polyester resin pool and the addition of top-quality equipment, containerized pools can be installed anywhere, even on sloping grounds, at a loss leader price of €16,500.
With its upcycling approach, shipping container pools also meet the requirement for sustainable development. An approach reinforced by this new product’s durability as its steel structure has high resistance to bad weather, corrosion and ground movements.
