This infinity pool on the edge of Lake Mouriscot was built when the associated house was renovated. The original pool, which had begun to show its age, appeared unsuitable for the architecture of the renovated house, both technically and aesthetically. A decision was therefore made to build a new, more modern pool, a little down the slope from the house and facing the lake.
With a length of 12m the pool is long enough to resemble a lap pool, since its width its limited to 4m. These dimensions fit with the available space and the volume of the house.
The personalised, partly above-ground configuration creates a perspective that extends from the house down to the lake, with no obstacles in the way.
In these special natural surroundings, the outlines of the pool are resolutely sleek and simply highlighted by the anthracite grey rendering which gives a unique aesthetic, as if the pool was rising out of the depths…
The pool is perfectly equipped for comfortable bathing in water that remains soft on the skin thanks to the UV water treatment process. The pool is also heated by a heat pump, lit by 3 white LED lights, and protected by an automatic cover housed in an underwater casing which also serves as a bench blending in seamlessly with the relaxation area.
